How this started
From one shop outside Seattle to a toolbox for every owner
In 2024, Chris hired Del to fix his company — a stone and tile shop outside Seattle, Washington. Not a pep talk. The grind: bottlenecks, labor, markup, leaks.
Chris shared that transformation at an industry event. Owners lined up asking how they could do the same. He asked Del to speak to 300 people at the next one.
Del declined. A stage talk can’t replace one-on-one work — and he couldn’t take on 300 clients.
So he made a different deal: give me two weeks. By the end of those two weeks he had written over 150 pages of methodologies and stories — the same system that had just rebuilt Chris’s company.
That writing became the foundation. Over about a year, Del and Chris turned it into software you can run yourself. Chris isn’t a guest speaker on this. He lived the grind, became one of Del’s best-performing clients, and now wants other owners to make more money the same way.
That’s The Other Toolbox. Built from a real shop. Built so you can run the methodology yourself.
